Job Objectives

As a Market Product Manager, you are the focal point for our commercial sales team in the region by supporting and equipping them with product knowledge and providing value propositions key to growing and securing our market position.  
You will partner with OEM product management counterparts to drive growth in each product line and sharing regional market intelligence and factors influencing product line growth.
Reporting directly to Head of Market Product Management Eastern Region, you will be part of a team of Market Product Managers situated in Singapore and China.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • To seek out, develop and implement sales strategy for Satair’s products and services within the assigned region.

  • Responsible for adapting the product sales pricing. Focal point for ad-hoc pricing proposals and in alignment with the discount guideline for applicable product lines.

  • To contribute actively in the development & implementation of product management strategy.

  • Responsible for Order Intake, Sales and Profit for the assigned region. 

  • Drive specific sales campaigns with the commercial team.
    Visit customers to present sales proposals with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Responsible and owner of CRM pipeline targets in the region to ensure budget numbers are met and follow-up with commercial and product management teams.

  • Lead contract follow-up with the commercial team.

  • Support and provide input to the long-term product line business plans.

  • Participate in OEM monthly or quarterly business review meetings by providing market information and customer feedback

  • Foster knowledge exchange and cooperation between product lines within the assigned region.

  • Drive business development initiatives for new product launches.

  • Drive and lead local process implementation as a baseline for efficiency and optimization

  • Is the voice of the assigned product lines in the assigned region. Attend local Leadership meetings when necessary.

  • Participate in the regional commercial meeting from a product management point of view.

  • Own and drive the product marketing plan for the assigned region in coordination with marketing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business 

  • Minimum 4 years of sales, product, program or supply chain management experience

  • Understanding of aviation business specifically in the area of spares support, supply chain management and maintenance.

  • Understanding of support obligations from aircraft purchase agreements

  • Strong business acumen

  • Knowledge about the product management discipline

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed profitability targets consistently

  • Experience in working with stakeholders globally
