Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Project Management

  • Lead and manage SAP S/4HANA full lifecycle implementation projects from initiation to stabilization.

  • Coordinate changes and integration requirements with other interfaced systems.

  • Oversee the transition and migration of financial data from existing ERP to SAP, ensuring data completeness, accuracy and integrity.

  • Drive end-to-end SAP project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Identify and mitigate finance process, integration, and migration risks.

  • Support the enhancement of SAP functionalities and provide system oversight post-implementation to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Facilitate smooth business-as-usual (BAU) operations by addressing, driving continuous improvement, and supporting finance teams in leveraging SAP system effectively.

  • Define and oversee functional and system design, gap analysis to ensure alignment with Scoot’s financial processes.

  • Govern application maintenance, enhancement operations, and transition to steady-state support.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with SAP consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.

  • Act as the main point of contact for finance teams, internal business units and external partners in project discussions to achieve project objectives

  • Facilitate workshops, define requirements, and drive conversations to establish solutions tailored to financial goals

  • Manage vendor and consultant relationships, contracts, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring they support the project’s success.

  • Represent finance at workshops, steering committee meetings, and project status updates.

  • Lead readiness and adoption of new finance processes that align with system changes.

  • Drive change management initiatives, preparing stakeholders for new tools, processes, and systems.

  • Oversee change management initiatives to ensure smooth project rollouts.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing SAP implementation experience (especially S/4HANA Finance) with strong project management focus from a finance perspective.

  • Proven experience in finance systems integration and data migration

  • Experience with integration technologies like EDI, APIs, and SAP BTP is advantageous.

  • Solid understanding of SAP modules (FICO, MM, PM, SD, PP, and QM) and their dependencies preferred.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to align business objectives with project execution.

  • Ability to lead large cross-functional teams, including external vendors and consultants.

  • Strong communication skills to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and SAP integration challenges, including data migration complexities.
