What you will do:  

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with customers, including key decision-makers and frontline stakeholders. 

 

How you will do it: 

  • Study product knowledge and company working procedures, continuously improving domain knowledge of product, company and industry.  

  • Plan annual secured order strategy aligned with Department goal. Achieve business sales target with YOY growth expectation in the region. 

  • Prepare and issue tenders and proposals to customers. Lead negotiation and/or bidding activity at optimum profit levels to the company. Close orders to achieve the goals and targets assigned. Responsible for payment collection. 

  • Provide monthly reporting on assigned vertical secured and revenue attainment as well as non-financial reporting to the management team. 

  • Be proactive to liaise, develop relationships and influence customer(s) to maintain a long-term service relationship, ensure customer satisfaction at high level. 

  • Develop sales leads and identify customer requirements.  

  • Monitor and collect competitors’ activities in the market and report periodically directed by the company. 

  • Independently develop and follow up the projects to provide solutions for customers. 

  • Compliance with Johnson Controls’ policies and procedures at all times. 

 

HVAC  

  • To obtain an effective understanding of York products and offers, to produce and supply quotations to suit customer requirements.  

  • To maintain constant field intelligence, feeds back pertinent information concerning competitors’ activities, products, prices, promotional programs and results as applied to York and competitive activities.  

  • To liaise with sales / service administrator and finance department pertaining to the computerized system, timely collection of payments (Credit Officer) from customers, credit issues and maintaining good customer credit profile.  

  • To update all customers on all York product information and offers. 

 

Controls/ Fire 

  • Responsible for the promotion of BMS/Fire products and systems in design institutes, industry associations and integrators in the industry in the region. 

  • Compiling the production of catalogues for customers. Prepare localized master catalogue and general applications for contractors and consultants where appropriate. 

  • Conduct cold calls and new business development. 

  • Explore and execute end-to-end BMS/Fire project and provide industry solution to customer. 

 

What we look for: 

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.  

  • At least 5 years of experience as Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pump, cooling tower, contractor, elevator or medical devices (MRI/CT scan).  

  • Experience in selling products to contractors, consultants, or company owners, and in handling projects.  

  • Knowledge of Building HVAC, Fire Protection, Controls would be preferred.  

  • Experience in Building industry would be preferred.  

  • Basic understanding of SAP operations will be advantageous 

  • Personal qualities of the candidate: ambition, good understanding in project, and good relationship with contractor, consultant, or company’s owner.
