Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job responsibilities will require to plans, organise, manage, lead and control the functions of the department. Responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies of ATE and DH products to build on existing business and promotion of new products. Analyse relevant market data to generate better insights and intelligence to facilitate business directions to achieve our business goals and profitability. Establish good communication lines with customers as well as to collaborate with internal departments from ASP and subsidiaries to ensure effective and efficient operations to achieve customer satisfaction.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for the full range of Advantest’s products, ensuring alignment with established business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with various Product Business Units to enhance customer support capabilities and to jointly develop effective sales and marketing initiatives, all aimed at meeting targeted business outcomes.
  • Work in partnership with ASP, its subsidiaries, and other relevant divisions to guarantee operational efficiency and effectiveness, thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and business success.
  • Deliver precise and timely sales forecasts as well as detailed market intelligence reports to support management decision-making.
  • Develop robust cost models for each sales transaction, ensuring both accuracy and profitability.
  • Analyse sales data, investigate market trends and developments, and gather market intelligence to identify new business opportunities.
  • Organise and lead presentations on products and services for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and manage service contracts with customers, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with company standards.
  • Drive assigned corporate initiatives and projects to successful completion, achieving their intended objectives.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing work processes and methods to boost productivity or reduce operational costs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer contacts, ensuring deep and broad engagement across client organisations.
  • Perform any other comparable duties or responsibilities as assigned by your immediate superior, in support of job enrichment and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess a degree in any discipline, complemented by a minimum of 6–8 years of sales experience within the semiconductor industry. Preference will be given to candidates with proven management or leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate a highly motivated, persuasive, and dynamic personality.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently and adapt to ad-hoc scheduling requirements.
  • Show strong entrepreneurial spirit, effective leadership, and people management skills. Must be self-driven, result-oriented, and possess a keen awareness of cultural considerations.
  • Display a demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organisational levels, including executive management.
  • Offer excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Provide evidence of a proven track record in acquiring new customers and consistently achieving company sales targets, which will be considered advantageous.
  • Be prepared to undertake business travel at short notice.
