RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and Drive the Regional SaaS Business

  • Own and develop the commercial SaaS business for the region, aligned with regional growth objectives and Temenos’ global SaaS strategy.
  • Work in close partnership with the Regional Managing Director and leadership team to define SaaS priorities, targets, and execution plans.
  • Act as the senior commercial owner and escalation point for regional SaaS performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Strategic Deal Support and Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as the SaaS commercial subject matter expert for the region, providing hands-on support for top strategic and complex SaaS deals.
  • Step in alongside Account Managers to shape deal strategy, refine commercial positioning, and help drive opportunities to close.
  • Support late-stage deal execution, particularly around complex pricing models, commercial constructs, and SaaS-specific considerations.

Pipeline Creation and Sales Enablement

  • Actively support pipeline creation by enabling sales teams to better understand, identify, and qualify SaaS opportunities.
  • Partner with sales leadership and Account Managers to improve early-stage SaaS opportunity quality and progression.
  • Translate SaaS market insights and deal learnings into actionable guidance for the field.

Commercial Deal Execution and Governance

  • Support and guide the end-to-end commercial process for closing SaaS deals, including pricing structures and contract commercials.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams during contract review and negotiation, balancing speed, risk, profitability, and customer value.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the regional SaaS commercial and contractual framework.

Enablement and Capability Building

  • Identify and define enablement requirements to increase Account Manager proficiency in identifying, maturing, and closing SaaS opportunities.
  • Drive targeted SaaS enablement initiatives (e.g. playbooks, training, best practices) to improve autonomy and consistency across the sales organization.
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to sales teams on SaaS deal mechanics and commercial execution.

Regional Leadership Alignment

  • Remain closely aligned with regional leadership, ensuring SaaS strategy and execution are fully embedded in regional priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Delivery, Partners, Finance, and Operations to drive an integrated approach to SaaS success.
  • Support the evolution of SaaS selling and operating models within the region, including partner-led and hybrid approaches where applicable.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong commercial leadership experience within SaaS, Cloud, or enterprise software environments.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS commercial models, deal structures, pricing mechanisms, and contractual considerations.
  • Proven ability to operate as a hands-on deal leader while also driving longer-term enablement and capability building.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage credibly at C-level internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally across Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Operations in complex deal environments.
  • Self-starter with strong execution focus and comfort operating in fast-paced, senior-stakeholder environments.
