Royal Ocean Marine is seeking motivated individuals for the position of ROV Trainee to join our client's dynamic team. As an ROV Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in the operation and maintenance of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) used in subsea operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology and the marine industry to kickstart their careers in ROV operations.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and mobilization of ROV equipment for operations.
- Participate in training sessions on ROV systems, operations, and safety protocols.
- Support ROV operators during dive operations and monitor vehicle performance.
- Learn to troubleshoot basic technical issues with ROV systems under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ROV equipment and work areas.
- Document operational activities and report on performance as required.
- Participate in safety drills and understand emergency procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical qualifications are a plus.
- Strong interest in subsea technology and marine operations.
- Basic knowledge of electronics or mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in ROV operations.
- Physical fitness and ability to pass medical assessments for working offshore.
