Responsibilities- Working closely and supporting the regional risk team to develop, implement, and enhance existing risk models, quantitative analytics, reports, and processes as per required
- Building proof of concept solutions for the new ideas and tools for data visualization (real-time streaming data and historical data) to provide risk managers with more insights into our trading activities
- Documenting any work done during internship and handover for future enhancements
- Penultimate or final year undergraduate students or Masters students pursuing a degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Strong interest in Financial markets with knowledge of equities, FX, and related derivatives (futures and options)
- Proficient in one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, and Javascript, and familiar with using Python / R to conduct data and quantitative analysis
- Working knowledge of operating systems (preferably Linux)
- Brilliant problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills in English
