We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to conduct interdisciplinary research on next-generation technologies that promote sustainable, healthy, and intelligent living environments. The successful candidate will develop innovative sensing systems, artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that enhance human well-being, building sustainability, and environmental resilience.

The role involves translating cutting-edge research into impactful technologies through collaboration with academic institutions, industry partners, healthcare organizations, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on emerging technologies supporting sustainable living.

  • Design and develop novel contactless sensing systems using wireless technologies.

  • Develop AI, machine learning, and signal processing algorithms for contactless monitoring of human activities, health and environmental conditions.

  • Validate sensing systems through laboratory experiments, field deployments, and real-world pilot studies.

  • Analyze large-scale sensing data to derive actionable insights for sustainable infrastructure and human-centric applications.

  • Publish high-quality research in leading international journals and conferences.

  • Collaborate with universities, research institutes, healthcare providers, government agencies, and industry partners on multidisciplinary research projects.

  • Mentor students where appropriate.

  • Present research findings at international conferences, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.

  • Strong research background in wireless sensing, pervasive computing, IoT, or intelligent sensing systems.

  • Research experience in environment and sustainability.

  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more sensing technologies, including Wi-Fi, UWB radar, mmWave radar, RFID, or related RF sensing platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of signal processing, machine learning, computer vision, or AI algorithms for sensing applications.

  • Experience developing experimental systems and conducting real-world validation studies.

  • Excellent programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar languages.

  • Strong publication record in reputable journals and conferences.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and scientific writing skills.
