We are looking for a Research Associate who will be mainly responsible for the design and development of advanced receiver algorithm for wireless communication systems for the project Signal Research Programme 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and development of advanced receiver algorithms for wireless communication systems, including burst detection, high-precision carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation, and joint demodulation and decoding.
Work closely with the team with PI, team members, collaborators and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones.
May also be assigned to work other areas (communication research related).
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering / Computing from reputable university.
Strong background in digital communications, particularly in receiver design for wireless communication systems.
Experience with advanced demodulation and decoding algorithms.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and performance evaluation.
Ability to think out of the box and to invent novel ways of solving complex technical problems independently.
Possess good communication skills (verbal/written) and enjoy working within a team as well as independently (with minimum guidance).
Strong track record of publications in reputable journals or conferences is preferred.
