We are looking for a Research Associate who will be mainly responsible for the design and development of advanced receiver algorithm for wireless communication systems for the project Signal Research Programme 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and development of advanced receiver algorithms for wireless communication systems, including burst detection, high-precision carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation, and joint demodulation and decoding.

  • Work closely with the team with PI, team members, collaborators and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones. 

  • May also be assigned to work other areas (communication research related).

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering / Computing from reputable university.

  • Strong background in digital communications, particularly in receiver design for wireless communication systems.

  • Experience with advanced demodulation and decoding algorithms.

  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and performance evaluation.

  • Ability to think out of the box and to invent novel ways of solving complex technical problems independently.

  • Possess good communication skills (verbal/written) and enjoy working within a team as well as independently (with minimum guidance).

  • Strong track record of publications in reputable journals or conferences is preferred.
