Job Description

Smartkarma is looking for a Research Analyst to join our Research team in Singapore. 

You will support all aspects of the Research team’s activities, from onboarding Insight Providers and identifying research gaps on the platform and supporting the buildout of the pvtIQ business unit, to managing bespoke research projects for clients.

You will report directly to the Head of Research and work closely with members of the Research team.

The role will include, but not be limited to:

  1. Developing a deep understanding of the investment research landscape, the Smartkarma platform, our key value propositions and contributing to the team’s plans to develop/acquire more research and data 

  2. Tracking and monitoring performance of Research team OKRs

  3. Assisting the team with onboarding Insight Providers, driving research engagement and managing Insight Provider relationships and performance

  4. Overseeing project timelines and the quality of project deliverables for the Bespoke Services business

Qualifications

  • You have 3+ years of work experience, with a keen and demonstrable interest in financial markets and financial services

  • You communicate clearly and concisely, whether verbally or in writing

  • You love analyzing data and/or financials, and applying your findings/hypotheses to business decisions

  • You are highly motivated and pay careful attention to detail in everything you do
