Singapore is a key ecosystem for Applied Materials. At the South East Asia Regional Office, we identify new growth opportunities and build win-win partnerships within the ecosystem to realize this growth.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the AMSEA Regional Office, you will be supporting the Regional President to lead cross functional teams and work with regional-global executive level stakeholders to:
- Strategize. Translate global strategies to regional opportunities, as well as sense-make regional trends to shape global strategies; align back regional opportunities with the BU business models to enable competitiveness
- Drive Change. Be a change activist to influence and drive progress in key strategic regional initiatives and programs through tight coordination-collaboration with senior management, functions and BUs
- Improve operations. Provide direction on improving administrative cadence and decision making in regional level initiatives.
- Build partnerships. Originate, negotiate and execute ecosystem partnerships in Singapore to accelerate new business opportunities from inception to execution
- Leverage public-private partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with key public stakeholders to ensure Applied Materials is strategically positioned and supported
- Communicate. Provide strategic directions and core messaging for both internal and external communications
Skills & Competencies

- Strong analytical skills and effective problem solver – ability to navigate ambiguity and a highly matrix organization

Education and Experience
- Bachelor in any Engineering or Science related discipline with 15+ years of relevant experience
- Experiences in public-private partnership, strategic operations and project management
- Experienced in strategizing, structuring and negotiating internal-external partnerships with 3-5 year planning horizon
- Good knowledge of the high technology and/or semiconductor industry
- Experiences working across time zones in multi-functional global teams
