Position Summary
Samsung’s Mobile Experience business is responsible for managing the growth and profitability of smartphones, tablets, wearables, and mobile accessories.As Regional GTM and Sell-Out Platform Manager for Samsung’s Mobile Experience Business, you will be responsible for managing regional GTM strategies, and developing and implementing sales enablement platforms and programs, to grow Samsung’s market leadership across the Southeast Asia and Oceania region.
There are 3 primary responsibilities for this role: (1) ongoing analysis of Samsung’s mobile performance vs. competitors to identify business risks and enhancement opportunities; (2) development and oversight of short- and mid-term channel strategies to drive business growth; (3) management of existing and future strategic sales programs and platforms. There will be particular focus on affordability programs and new business models, including but not limited to: device trade-in, microfinancing, and subscription / leasing models.

- Review and analyze the performance and trends of Samsung and key competitors across countries and channels, to identify business risks and opportunities
- Manage and grow existing global and regional sales enablement platforms, including Trade-In, Samsung Finance+, subscription models, and EIP / BNPL / affordability programs
- Manage the deployment of any new strategic sales programs in SEAO, coordinating across HQ / RHQ / Country teams to ensure effective execution
- Work with regional and subsidiary teams to develop and deploy short and mid-term strategies for sales channels across the region, for example:
- Expanding distribution coverage and sales in rural areas & independent retail channels
- Driving acceleration of Samsung branded channels with differentiated offers & value-added services
- Growing share with telcos through establishing new consumer programs
- Work with regional and subsidiary counterparts on new business model ideation and expansion
- Identify, detail and communicate global / regional best practices to accelerate sales growth across the region
- Continuously monitor core KPIs, including sales, market/channel share, profit, and TIM
- Actively coordinate with relevant counterparts in headquarters, SEAO office, and subsidiaries
- Provide regular progress reports to team and SEAO Office leadership
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 7-8 years of relevant professional experience in consumer products company, ideally mobile, consumer electronics, or adjacent industry
- Extensive project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams across geographies
- Understanding of sales channels for mobile / consumer electronics (both online and offline), retail operations, promotion planning and management
- Experience with market and competitor analysis, and competitive strategy development
- Excellent analytical skills and excel capabilities
- Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities and collaborative approach
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experienced producing polished reports in powerpoint
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Mobile / electronics industry experience preferred
- Relevant regional experience preferred
