The Role

We are looking for an experienced and credible Regional Head of HR to lead the people function across our multi-country operations comprising approximately 180 staff.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is the most senior HR role in the organisation. You will own the full HR agenda — from governance and compliance to talent, culture, and capability building — across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam. You will lead a lean regional HR team and work directly with in-country operators and business leaders to ensure the HR function is operationally excellent, commercially aware and genuinely trusted by the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role in an HR function that is amidst transformation. The expectation is that you will be as comfortable rolling up your sleeves on operational matters as you are advising the CEO on people strategy. This role will suit you if you thrive in ambiguous environments where you can shape something meaningful from the ground up.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on all people matters.
  • Develop and execute a regional HR strategy aligned to business priorities; build trusted relationships with business leaders across all countries.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex ER, disciplinary, and compliance matters.
  • Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and headcount governance across all entities.
  • Lead the performance appraisal, salary review, and bonus cycles; make compensation, promotion, and bonus recommendations to the CEO.

Regional HR Operations, Compliance & Governance

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including talent acquisition and payroll across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Maintain accountability for employment law compliance and statutory obligations across all jurisdictions
  • Own the regional HR governance framework — policies, SOPs, and escalation protocols; drive standardisation and continuous improvement of HR processes across the region.
  • Champion the learning and development, employee engagement, and wellbeing agenda.

HRIS & Data Governance

  • Drive the organisation's HRIS roadmap, including system optimisation and where applicable, migration.
  • Own HR data integrity and reporting, providing the CEO and leadership team with reliable headcount, attrition, and workforce analytics.
  • Serve as the company's Data Protection Officer ensuring compliance with applicable data protection legislation across all operating jurisdictions, including PDPA (Singapore).

Team Leadership & Operating Rhythm

  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage the regional HR team across Singapore and country locations; establish clear accountabilities and a culture of ownership and execution discipline.
  • Chair the HR team review; set direction, priorities, and operating rhythm for the HR function.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role in South-East Asia or Taiwan.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR in a fast-paced, scaling SME — gaming, tech, media, or entertainment background is advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across Singapore and at least one other SEA country or Taiwan.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing or overseeing payroll governance across multiple countries, including statutory compliance and payroll controls. Singapore payroll experience is a must, experience in at least one of the following jurisdictions is strongly preferred: Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan or Vietnam.
  • Proven track record of leading HR teams with a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Hands-on by disposition — equally comfortable in strategic discussions and operational execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and challenge senior leaders constructively.
  • High ownership mindset with strong judgement, discretion, and decision-making capability.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging HR technologies to improve team productivity, automate routine workflows, and enhance HR reporting and decision-making. Prior experience with AI-assisted HR tools is an advantage; genuine curiosity to adopt new technologies is essential.

Why Join Us

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the people agenda in a growing, gaming-native organisation with regional scale and global ambitions. You will work directly with the CEO, lead a team across five countries, and have genuine influence over how the organization culture is built.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Market competitive salary with Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
  • Discretionary performance bonus
  • Annual and medical leave benefits
  • Medical care benefits including Group Hospitalisation & Surgery and clinical consultations
  • Mobile allowance
  • Learning & self-development benefits
  • 1 day work-from-home per week; 4 days in-office at Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore
