Develop, execute, and optimize quantitative trading strategies for crypto markets across CEXs and DEXs. Analyze market and on-chain data, deploy algorithmic models (market-making, arbitrage), manage portfolios and risk, collaborate with researchers and developers, and continuously improve performance, latency, and gas efficiency.
We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects in the digital asset space. As a Quantitative Trader in Crypto, you will develop, execute, and optimize quantitative trading strategies tailored to cryptocurrency markets. Collaborating with quantitative researchers, developers, and risk managers, you will analyze market data, implement algorithmic trading models, and manage portfolios to maximize profitability. Your ability to combine quantitative rigor with crypto market expertise will drive the firm’s success in the fast-paced digital asset space.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy Execution: Implement and execute high-frequency quantitative trading strategies across centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges, such as Binance, Uniswap, or Kraken.
- Market Analysis: Analyze real-time market data, order book dynamics, on-chain metrics, and alternative datasets to identify trading opportunities and market inefficiencies.
- Algorithmic Trading: Deploy and monitor algorithmic trading models, including market-making, arbitrage, and statistical trading strategies, optimized for crypto market conditions.
- Portfolio Management: Manage trading portfolios, optimizing capital allocation, risk exposure, and liquidity across multiple cryptocurrencies and trading venues.
- Model Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative researchers to refine, backtest, and implement trading models, ensuring seamless transition from research to production.
- Risk Management: Apply risk controls to manage market, counterparty, and operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks.

- Market Research: Stay informed on cryptocurrency trends, blockchain protocols, DeFi ecosystems, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies to evolving markets.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze trading performance, P&L, and market metrics to provide actionable insights for strategy improvement.
- Automation & Tools: Utilize and enhance trading bots, APIs, and automated systems to ensure reliable and efficient trade execution.
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in quantitative trading, preferably in cryptocurrency or high-frequency trading environments.
- Proven success in developing or executing data-driven trading strategies in crypto markets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, DeFi tokens).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis, scripting, or trading automation.
- Familiarity with C++, Java, or Rust for collaboration with developers is a plus.
- Experience with market data APIs, order execution systems, and trading platforms (e.g., CCXT, Binance API).
- Crypto Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and market microstructure (e.g., AMMs, liquidity pools, staking).
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and make rapid, data-driven decisions in volatile markets.
- Risk Management: Expertise in managing market volatility, liquidity risks, and counterparty risks specific to crypto trading.
- Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and risk managers to align on trading objectives.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with on-chain analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Nansen, Glassnode).
- Knowledge of smart contracts, DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve), or layer-2 solutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrencies (e.g., KYC/AML, tax compliance).
- Experience with statistical modeling or machine learning for trading applications.
