As a Package Reliability Operation Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to validating and qualifying Micron’s packages to ensure top-tier reliability. You will oversee a highly technical engineering team, setting quality and reliability standards, resolving package reliability issues, and establishing qualification criteria for new packages and technologies. This role requires expertise in semiconductor component assembly, surface mount processes, and industry-standard qualification methods (e.g., JEDEC, AEC, IPC), applying this knowledge to ensure the success of new package technologies.
You will manage and optimize departmental performance by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include developing high-performing teams and enhancing individual capabilities through performance management systems. You will provide leadership in creating and implementing department strategies, processes, and policies, actively overseeing functional teams and projects, and mentoring functional leaders to develop sustainable solutions.
As a Quality Operations Manager at Micron, you will manage the Reliability Lab and collaborate with Test Manufacturing for test readouts. Your duties include managing operations throughput, prioritizing reliability sampling requests, planning capacity and resource requirements, coordinating with area planners for shared resources, and overseeing operations. You will work closely with various engineering teams to plan and meet reliability sampling for qualifications, monitoring, and SWR. Additionally, you will communicate with Product Engineering and QA/product coordinators on product disposition decisions to support QA hold releases.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to handle direct reports; experience in building new teams is desired.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Good in written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with other groups, both internally and externally.
- Effective prioritization, project management, planning, and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability towards assigned roles with a professional work ethic.
