Position Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for user side (Trade Finance Operations) project software testing design, planning, scripting and test execution for a variety of applications applicable to the department and/or project.

The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and diverse technologies. The individual will work closely with different project managers, IT stakeholders, Vendors, and other stakeholders to draft & execute test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of project processes and the QA lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product management, project management and IT stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives

  • Design and develop comprehensive UAT/regression test conditions, scenarios, and scripts to validate business and technical use cases (thinking in the shoes of an operations end user) thereby supporting successful and high-quality production rollouts

  • Manually execute and analyze UAT/regression test results in a timely manner within the project timeline and work with IT partners to ensure all defects are resolved correctly

  • Utilize existing tools (e.g., JIRA) for test tracking and perform various positive & negative testing in various Trade Finance Operations systems (e.g. case management systems, trade finance processing systems, Swift system)

  • Participate in troubleshooting and analysis of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution,

  • Document, track, and escalate defects; provide regular testing status reports to stakeholders

  • Prepare system training materials and decks for end users

  • Review project documentation e.g. functional specification documentation (FSD) to ensure quality & usability to Trade Finance operations users.

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned by Supervisor.

Experience/Skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience preferred in a testing or quality assurance role, fresh graduates with strong interest are welcomed

  • Knowledge of Trade Finance (e.g. Letter of Credit, Banker Guarantees, Collections, Financing), SWIFT and/or trade finance operations processing will be a strong advantage

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent comprehension and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently

  • This job is 100% work in office, based at Tampines.

  • Depending on workload demands, this role may require the incumbent to work beyond the standard office hours.

  • This is a contract job that will end on 30 Dec 26.
