Project Manager - VP

Responsible for driving delivery of the planned roadmap encompassing multiple projects and application enhancements within the Wealth domain. This role focuses on removing impediments to ensure successful project delivery, coaching and mentoring Agile teams, and fostering strong partnerships across business and technology stakeholders. This role will leverage deep knowledge of systems used in Private Banking, Wealth Management, and servicing High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), working closely with senior leaders across BOS and OCBC.

This role acts as a key liaison between product owners, technology teams, business units, and governance functions to ensure alignment and smooth execution of Agile initiatives. The VP role will lead Agile teams, monitor progress, and proactively address obstacles to maintain delivery momentum.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop project plans that meet their objectives. You'll need to be proactive, adaptable, and able to navigate complex project landscapes. By leveraging your project management expertise, you'll drive projects forward, mitigate risks, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
What you do

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities for technology initiatives in the Wealth domain, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to align project goals and expectations.

  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring transparency and effective information flow.

  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies within the Platform teams.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in project management within the financial services or wealth management technology domain.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Pragmatic team player with an attention to detail

  • Familiar with prevailing tools and practices (Jira/Confluence)

  • Proven track record in working within both a waterfall and agile project delivery methodology

  • Motivated, passionate about technology and the Financial Services
