Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and delivery focused User Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of strategic initiatives across our Cards, Payments & Personal Loans business. Acting as a key bridge between Business and Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives across the Cards, Payments and Personal Loans portfolio.
  • Act as a primary liaison between Business and Technology, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, prioritised and translated into effective technology solutions.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and governance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across business units, technology, operations, risk, compliance, finance and external partners.
  • Oversee business testing activities, including testing planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management and business sign-off to ensure solution meets business requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and proactively manage project risks, issues and key decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience, processes and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure smooth end-to-end project delivery, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution and post-implementation validation by coordinating with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other relevant teams.
  • Provide relevant project support to other regional offices (Malaysia, HKMO, Indonesia).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, business implementation or change delivery within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering technology enabled projects, preferably in Cards, Payments, Personal Loans or Rewards.
  • Strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle, including business requirements, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation and post implementation support.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across Business, Technology and support functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
