About the Role

Brenntag is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Facilities & CAPEX to lead and support strategic facility investments, expansion projects, and multifunctional initiatives across Brenntag-Tee Hai.

This role will manage projects across the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with applicable regulatory and governance requirements.

The role will also work closely with cross-functional teams across APAC and support business development initiatives by developing practical facility and infrastructure solutions based on customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & CAPEX Management

  • Lead and support the evaluation and execution of facility CAPEX and non-CAPEX projects, including new investments, facility expansions and improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities across the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) lifecycle.
  • Establish project plans, milestones, governance routines and reporting mechanisms to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor project progress against scope, timelines, budgets, quality and key deliverables.
  • Prepare regular project updates covering milestones, risks, issues, decisions and action items for management review.
  • Support project gate reviews and ensure appropriate controls are in place from construction through to operational handover.
  • Contribute to CAPEX assessment and evaluation from a business development perspective, including assessing facility requirements and potential solutions to support business growth.

2. Compliance, Risk & Safety

  • Ensure projects comply with applicable regulatory, quality, safety and environmental requirements, including GMP/GDP where applicable.
  • Support the application and maintenance of relevant licences and regulatory approvals.
  • Conduct project risk assessments, identify potential hazards and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Work closely with QSHE/EHS and other relevant functions to address facility, construction and safety-related requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Source and evaluate quotations from project-related vendors and contractors where required.
  • Support commercial negotiations and vendor selection.
  • Manage vendors and contractors to ensure work is delivered according to agreed scope, quality, timelines and contractual requirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with engineering partners, contractors, suppliers and other external stakeholders.

4. Cross-Functional & APAC Project Support

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Operations, QSHE, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Development and other functions.
  • Ensure project deliverables are aligned with strategic objectives, timelines and budgetary requirements.
  • Participate in project governance meetings and provide timely updates to key stakeholders.
  • Support regional APAC projects and initiatives based on business requirements.

5. Business & Customer Solutions

  • Work closely with business teams to understand customer and operational requirements.
  • Support the development of value-added facility and service solutions, such as sampling, storage and related infrastructure requirements.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by providing project, facility and technical perspectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, real estate partners, legal teams, government authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within EPC, facilities, plant engineering, construction or CAPEX project environments.
  • Proven experience managing facility/plant CAPEX projects and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in vendor and contractor management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exposure to GMP/GDP, Dangerous Goods (DG) or other regulated environments will be an advantage.
  • Experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, semiconductor, manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Distribution industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience supporting projects involving regulatory approvals, licences or government authorities is beneficial.

What We're Looking For

Experience in pharma, chemical, semiconductor, FMCG or other highly regulated industries would be particularly valuable, but we are open to candidates from other industries with strong transferable project management experience.
