Project Manager (Field Marketing)
Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the Technology industry.
As a Project Manager (Field Marketing), you will play a central role in strategising and executing comprehensive demand generation initiatives across the South East Asia region. Your work will involve driving brand consideration, product adoption, and customer success through extensive, integrated online, offline, direct, and indirect go-to-market programmes. You will be instrumental in building an engaged customer base and actively collaborating with direct sales teams on scalable enterprise and start-up marketing activities across multiple segments, channels, geographies, and phases of the customer relationship lifecycle. You will have a proven track record of consistently exceeding marketing objectives, establishing credibility with sales teams and global marketing colleagues through your market insights, industry knowledge, communication prowess, leadership, and vision.
Role:
- Spearhead the end-to-end planning and execution of impactful in-person and digital events (e.g., conferences, trade shows, webinars) to generate qualified leads and foster business expansion.
- Design and deploy integrated, multi-channel demand generation campaigns, working closely with sales, marketing, and diverse cross-functional teams.
- Oversee all logistical elements for campaigns and events, from meticulous pre-initiative planning through to comprehensive post-execution analysis.
- Utilise CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) to optimise campaign performance and rigorously track ROI.
- Partner with key collaborators to extend market reach and cultivate robust community programmes.
- Collaborate with the Brand, Social Media, Customer Advocacy, Public Relations, and Government Relations teams to amplify awareness, elevate market mindshare, and build commercial momentum.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and evaluate best practices to enhance overall marketing effectiveness incrementally.
You:
- A degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in B2B technology marketing or direct field marketing.
- A solid understanding of the enterprise software purchase, development, and implementation lifecycles.
- Experience with or a keen understanding of developer audiences; possessing strong technical acumen and the ability to engage effectively with highly technical individuals and technologies.
- Exceptional project management skills and experience, including the leadership of external creative agencies, event vendors, and complex international projects; proven expertise in planning and executing multiple, intricate marketing programmes, including comprehensive budget management.
- Robust communication skills, effective in both business and technical contexts, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in plain language to reach broad audiences.
- Highly developed analytical skills to gather, interpret, and action data from diverse sources (e.g., marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, web analytics tools) to track KPI, measure campaign effectiveness, and pinpoint areas for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience utilising CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and consistently results-oriented approach.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects spanning across JAPAC markets.
