Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Project Administrator to support our technology initiatives and ensure smooth project operations. This role combines traditional project administration with technical responsibilities including Jira ticket management and application log transfers across different environments.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while developing both technical and project management skills in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Assist with resource allocation and capacity planning.
  • Monitor project budgets and help track expenses.
  • Facilitate communication between development teams, stakeholders, and management.
  • Maintain project repositories and ensure documentation is current and accessible.

Jira Ticket Management

  • Process incoming Jira tickets and ensure proper categorization and prioritization.
  • Monitor ticket queues and escalate high-priority issues appropriately.
  • Update ticket statuses and maintain accurate records of progress.
  • Generate reports on ticket metrics, resolution times, and team performance.
  • Ensure tickets contain complete information before assignment.
  • Maintain Jira workflows and suggest improvements to ticket processes.

Technical Operations Support

  • Transfer application logs between development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Ensure log transfers comply with security protocols and data handling procedures.
  • Monitor log transfer processes and troubleshoot any failures.
  • Maintain log retention policies and archive historical logs as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT project administration or similar role.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
