UCT is looking for a talented Production Controller II to join us in Singapore! 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish Quarterly, Half Yearly production build and completion plan per customer demand.
  • Analyze customer demand and drive capacity support plan to mitigate line bottleneck/ constraints and pinch point to support customer demands
  • Coordinate with Account Operations to ensure OTD and customer’s expectation is met
  • Create and/or build organize a production schedule/systems to improve production tracking efficiency.
  • Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to do with shipment and deliveries to customers
  • Collaborate with material planning dept in CTB improvement effort to overcome supply chain challenge
  • Track and monitor production progress and update the build status into production plan.
  • Ensure WO is release per planned and work on push-pull of customer demands.
  • Monitor and plan for Materials in house (MIH) and highlights for any Clear to Build (CTB) risk upfront for risk mitigation.
  • Control and manage WIP and inventory in production floor per KPI set.
  • Able to evaluate schedule progress and analyze variance with reference to baseline schedule. 
  • Drive materials team to expedite (critical/hot) shortage parts according to DDD.
  • Update and track weekly KPI- OTD, WIP Inventory, shipment risk summary and mitigation actions
  • Support others tasking and production analysis reports that assigned by the HOD & management
  • As SME to SAP set-up and implementation
  • Any other adhoc duties.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Planning software skill – SAP, Agile, Visual Management
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel spreadsheet and Powerpoint)
  • Meticulous attention to numbers and detail oriented.

 

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills so as to be able to pass the necessary information to both customers and employees
  • Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively, as well as having the ability to lead a team
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully, cordially, and freely with people (customers, employees, and vendors inclusive)
  • Good leadership abilities
  • Able to motivate other employees when needed
  • Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task at all times
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision
  • Possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
