Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Product Specialist to be based in Singapore.  In this role, you will represent J&J MedTech Surgery innovations that help advance surgical care and improve patient outcomes. You will partner closely with surgeons and nurses to understand clinical needs and deliver value through our differentiated portfolio of products and services. Your work will directly support healthcare professionals and contribute to better recovery and quality of life for patients. 

This position operates at the forefront of the operating theatre and requires success in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and results‑driven environment. The role calls for confidence, resilience, and strong knowledge of surgical procedures, customers, and medical device solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Achieve / exceed assigned account sales targets and drive sustainable growth within key accounts 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and market share 

  • Build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through strong relationships, product expertise, and service excellence 

  • Support improved patient care through appropriate in‑service education and clinical product training 

  • Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, franchise, and cross‑functional teams to support account strategies and resolve business issues 

  • Maintain accurate and timely account records, reports, and customer information 

  • Continuously develop product knowledge and selling capabilities to differentiate Johnson & Johnson from competitors 

  • Manage product samples and sales‑related expenses in line with approved forecasts and company guidelines 

  • Contribute to product portfolio planning and execution based on customer insights and business priorities 

  • Maintain deep understanding of products, procedures, competitors, and market trends 

  • Expand opportunities across existing and new customer segments 

  • Cultivate partnerships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders 

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business objectives 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing, or Business (preferred) 

  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills

  • Ability to conduct sales mapping, Pre-Call Planning and post call review and follow-ups

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively within cross‑functional teams 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment 

  • Resilience and accountability to deliver results under pressure 

  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours when business needs require 

Preferred:

•            Preferably with at least 3 years medical device experience

•            Sales experience would be an advantage

•            Possess a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred
