Job Description

OVERVIEW:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced sales and business development manager for our media rights unit. This role will be sales focused reaching out to broadcasters and digital media platforms to distribute Sportradar’s media rights portfolio. Supporting the collaboration with federations, leagues or sports rights holders and acquire rights will be an additional part of the role. You will need to use your personal network as well as our organization to drive this business significantly.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Be part of the sales and business development team for Sportradar Audiovisual
  • Revenue responsibility for media rights sales in Asia
  • Support the rights acquisition process
  • Identifying and acquisition of new clients
  • Negotiation of new agreements with international clients, including presenting and pitching in front of clients
  • Market-Monitoring and identification of trends
  • Sticking to internal reporting structures for sales KPIs
  • Support the product teams to optimize the products from a sales perspective

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Previous sales experience in sports media rights or related area
  • Sales driven personality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English, another language is an advantage
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of the media and digital landscape in Asia
  • Understanding of the wider global sports audiovisual environment (rights and licensing cycles)
