The Product Owner will manage the insurance advisor platform, defining vision and strategy, collaborating with teams for delivery, and ensuring compliance.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner with experience in insurance advisor platforms or digital insurance ecosystems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing consumer-facing platforms and driving digital initiatives across business units including Investment, Marketing, and Operations. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on product execution in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization based on business value and customer impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Business stakeholders) to translate requirements into scalable product solutions
- Manage enhancements and changes in insurance advisor / consumer platforms
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for digital optimization and automation
- Create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support end-to-end delivery lifecycle
- Review test plans, participate in UAT, and ensure quality product releases
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives
- Engage and present updates, roadmaps, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards within the financial services domain
- Manage third-party vendors and technology partners across product delivery cycles
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Insurance or Investment domains
- Hands-on experience working on insurance advisor platforms, wealth platforms, or digital advisory tools
- Strong understanding of investment products, advisory journeys, and digital enablement
- Proven experience delivering complex digital products or platforms at scale
- Expertise in stakeholder management, including senior/executive-level interactions
- Experience working with external vendors and managing end-to-end delivery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Agile/Scrum methodology (certification preferred)
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma
- Familiarity with digital product lifecycle and UX/UI collaboration
