About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our Insurance Advisor Platform. This role is critical in shaping digital experiences that empower insurance advisors with intuitive, efficient, and scalable tools to serve customers effectively.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with insurance advisor platforms or similar distribution systems. While investment domain experience is not required, familiarity with insurance advisory workflows and digital enablement is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, advisors, designers, and engineering teams to define product vision and roadmap
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement
- Work with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features
- Gather feedback from insurance advisors and stakeholders to refine platform capabilities
- Monitor product performance, user adoption, and continuously optimize the platform
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements within the insurance domain
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in digital platforms
- Proven experience working on insurance advisor platforms, agency tools, or distribution systems
- Strong understanding of insurance advisory processes and workflows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in life insurance or general insurance digital ecosystems
- Exposure to CRM, advisor tools, or customer onboarding platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in insurance markets (Singapore/Asia is a plus)
- Technical understanding to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
