Job Description
Summary:In this role, you will be part of the Distributed I/O team with Global Product Management responsibilities, reporting to the Global Business Manager, managing a portfolio of product line(s). This role will be based in Singapore but requires business travel overseas based on business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:- Achieve yearly revenue and profit margin targets for the assigned portfolio.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle management for the assigned portfolio of products including forecasting, product enhancements, managing obsolescence.
- Serve as a key point of contact to assist with customer support and issue resolution.
- Analyze competitive products and develop comparisons.
- Translate market needs, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, customer insights, and business strategy into a clearly-defined product strategy.
- Develop and own multi-year product roadmap aligned with the product strategy.
- Formulate compelling marketing messages for internal and external/customer presentations and integrate into sales enablement resources
- Define the product positioning and global go-to-market strategy. Train internal and distributor teams to promote and sell assigned portfolio.
- Participate in cross department projects to enhance technical understanding and influence evolution of products and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or Business
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different locations/time zones
- 10 or more years of overall experience. At least 5 years of experience in Product Management/Marketing, Application Engineering or Sales.
- Willingness to travel overseas for short periods at a time for work (up to 25% of the time)
- Legal authorization to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship)
- Equipped with knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
