The role also assists with label modifications, compliance buyoffs, and related SharePoint requests.

Assists with maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, calibration, and operational support for automated equipment, testers, fixtures, and final assembly lines. Supports line changeovers, process improvements, automation modifications, safety buyoffs, work instructions, corrective and preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and engineering change updates. The role also assists with label modifications and compliance processes involving SAP, SharePoint, and global labeling teams. This is a one-year contract with potential conversion and may require night-shift support.

Support the manufacturing test team by using AI and digital tools to collect and update production, repair, and quality data; maintain dashboards and weekly backlog/productivity reports using Power BI/Excel (advanced macros); convert manual processes to digital workflows; support continuous improvement projects; and perform soldering and component replacement.

Plans and coordinates materials, inventory, procurement, production scheduling, and supply-demand activities for new product launches and product lifecycle management. Manages SAP forecasting, stocking strategies, inventory parameters, S&OP participation, capacity planning, and end-of-life transitions. Partners with purchasing, production control, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability, minimize obsolescence and scrap costs, and maintain product release schedules.

Plans and monitors production schedules, material requirements, inventory, production orders, and shipment timelines. Coordinates with procurement, suppliers, logistics, warehouses, and production teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery. Manages incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, documentation, and stock takes. Identifies risks, develops recovery plans, resolves shipment issues, and supports Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives using ERP and reporting tools.

Design, test, and support firmware and embedded software for current and next-generation industrial automation products. Develop low-level device drivers for 32-bit microcontrollers, real-time operating system applications, communication protocols, and automated unit tests. Collaborate with global, multicultural engineering teams, meet project deliverables, create design documentation, apply secure coding and functional safety practices, debug hardware-assisted systems, and communicate updates and resolutions to customers and partners.

The role involves developing quality strategies for products, conducting design reviews, managing quality standards, and leading risk mitigation to ensure product reliability and performance.

Support ETO project execution and engineering activities for power and control systems: review specs and drawings, manage engineering changes, maintain BOMs, coordinate cross-functional teams, support prototype builds and manufacturing readiness, track schedules/risks, resolve manufacturing issues, and provide post-sales technical support.

Lead product compliance for electrical and electronic industrial automation products, managing certifications, regulatory approvals, safety and EMC requirements, liaising with test agencies, driving cross-functional change, and using AI tools to streamline compliance work and documentation.

Support and maintain automated test equipment for new product introductions and production. Implement continuous improvement, create test specifications and documentation, develop wiring schematics and BOMs, debug test software and PLCs, schedule maintenance and calibrations, manage spare parts, and provide production troubleshooting and operator training in a manufacturing environment.

Manage production planning and scheduling, monitor production progress and inventory, resolve material constraints, coordinate with procurement/logistics/warehouse, support new product introductions and continuous improvement, and maintain MRP outputs to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.

Design, implement, and support automated test equipment and processes for PCBAs, assemblies, and systems in production. Troubleshoot and maintain test systems, develop test specifications, documentation, BOMs, wiring schematics, and test software. Drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, operator training, preventative maintenance, spare parts management, and plant support for manufacturing validation and productivity goals.

Support daily production and equipment maintenance for automated assembly lines, troubleshoot fixtures/testers/ATE, perform preventive maintenance, assist with process and automation improvements, create work instructions, support label and SAP/SharePoint-related tasks, and participate in ECN and corrective action activities.

Lead strategic sourcing activities for electronic components: negotiate contracts, drive cost reduction (VA/VE), manage supplier performance and risk, support NPI and cross-functional supplier development.
