JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define product roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Market & Customer Research: Conduct research, analyse trends, and gather customer insights to inform product decisions.
  • Product Development Leadership: Act as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum teams, leading sprint planning, backlog management, reviews, and stakeholder updates.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, QA, DevOps, and delivery teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee product launches, updates, and phase-outs to ensure continued relevance and support.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs, monitor adoption and usage, and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
  • Sales & Pre-Sales Support: Provide product expertise, assist in demos, proposals, and customer engagements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate progress, risks, and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solution Innovation: Leverage IoT, AI, cloud, and digital platforms to drive sustainable outcomes and create differentiating solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services) or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in building technologies, smart building solutions, or sustainability-focused roles.
    • Strong track record in Product Management, Solution Architecture, or Technical Leadership.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, IoT platforms, Digital Twin, CMMS.
    • Agile Product Development (Scrum Product Owner experience preferred).
    • Data-driven approach to product performance and customer success.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communicator, problem-solver, and collaborative leader with the ability to influence across functions.

  • SmartScore / WiredScore Accredited Professional
  • ActiveScore Accredited Professional
  • Microsoft Azure/AWS Fundamentals
  • Cloud & Digital Platform certifications (e.g., Government Commercial Cloud)J
