Job Purpose
Product Line Management of Donaldson Mobile Solutions Aftermarket Business for Southeast Asia (SEA), Japan and Korea. Responsibilities includes but not limited to managing Product Data, driving product strategies/programs and developing new/competitive filtration products to achieve profitability and growth goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage Donaldson Mobile Solutions Aftermarket Products and Product Lifecycle.
- Manage the product lines for maximum profitability and growth.
- Develop and drive product strategies/programs which meet the company’s objectives and needs of the markets responsible for.
- Responsible for successful introduction and launch of new products, including setting strategic direction to develop market campaigns, communication strategy, collateral and training resources as required.
- Oversee the development of filtration system design solutions for customers. Strive to provide cost effective design solutions which meet customer performance requirements.
- Own product development plan with both mid and long term focus.
- Maintain comprehensive and effective product and cross-reference data.
- Provide sound technical support in the field as necessary through site visits and presentations.
- Participate in sales and customer interactions and support for opportunity pursuit, training, trade shows, etc.
- Conduct market and competitive product research to determine strategic actions required and/or growth opportunities to target.
- Participate/lead strategic projects with regional and/or global influence.
- Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor as and when required.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Science, Technical or Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a relevant industry.
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to influence to achieve alignment.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate with members of the immediate group and the organization as a whole.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Project Management.
- Product Management.
- Possesses sound multi-cultural awareness of local and regional business norms, practices, and customs.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other data management tools.
Leadership Competence:
- Serve as a technical or professional resource to employees or teams.
- Manages end-to-end projects or processes.
- May indirectly lead the work of smaller and less complex project teams.
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
- Up to 30% of travel.
- Effective written and spoken English is mandatory.
