About the Role
The incumbent’s responsibility is product pricing to support the development of new and innovative ILP products or campaigns, including the development of assumptions and pricing models, preparation of regulatory product filings, internal presentations, and supporting product implementation.The incumbent is also responsible for providing policy servicing support by managing stakeholders queries, investigating root causes of policy related issues and delivering clear and accurate solutions in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Product pricing of new and existing ILP products, including preparation of reports and presentations for senior management
Assess and evaluate key financial metrics, and propose ways to improve them while balancing the need for product competitiveness
Engage a range of internal stakeholders on pricing and implementation matters
Review product-related documents
Provide technical and implementation support for system development, including UAT, Day 2 and post-launch enhancements
Provide high-quality policy servicing support that ensures queries are handled accurately and resolved promptly
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent quantitative discipline
3 - 6 years of actuarial experience in life insurance
Demonstrated progress in actuarial professional exams
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Knowledge of Prophet or similar actuarial software is a strong advantage
