As a designer at SWAT, you’ll play a key role in shaping exceptional user experiences across our products. You’ll work alongside product managers and engineers, collaborating closely to refine and enhance existing solutions while exploring new concepts through design, ideation, and user validation.

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of converting to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Who we are looking for:

  • Builds a deep understanding and empathy for users.
  • Pays great attention to detail and is comfortable experimenting and iterating on ideas.
  • Welcomes constructive feedback and can defend design decisions to benefit the product and customer.
  • Enjoys validating designs with customers, conducting user research, and gathering insights.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with designers, developers, and other team members.
  • Inclusive, thoughtful, curious, and proactive in fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
  • Create user flows, prototypes, and test ideas to develop intuitive and impactful user experiences.
  • Design user interfaces and experiences for both web and mobile applications.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and usability testing.
  • Ensure consistency across all design assets and maintain design systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to refine and deliver solutions.

Minimum Qualifications::

  • 2-3 years of experience designing UX for products across web and mobile.
  • A degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in working English.
  • Familiar with Figma and design systems.
  • Strong command of visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Skilled in communicating and prototyping interactions at all levels of fidelity.
  • Comfortable with user research and utilising data to inform decisions.
