Department Overview
The Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) Procurement team designs and implements the company's comprehensive product outsourcing strategy, from initial sourcing to ongoing supplier management. We collaborate closely with Business and Engineering teams to understand their requirements and then meticulously identify, vet, and select a pool of qualified global suppliers. Our mission is to build and maintain a network of partners that not only meet our immediate outsourcing needs but also drive cost efficiencies and accelerate innovation. The team's core functions include contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and continuous market analysis to ensure a robust and optimized supply chain.

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Category Manager to oversee the strategic management of our ODM suppliers. This role is crucial for optimizing our procurement processes and fostering robust supplier relationships that fuel our product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for ODM suppliers, managing the full procurement lifecycle from concept, initial sourcing to contract closure and ongoing governance.

  • Lead all commercial and contractual negotiations, securing favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements that align with business objectives.

  • Serve as a central point of contact for all ODM supplier-related matters, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Establish and oversee supplier performance metrics, conducting regular business reviews and audits to drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, while also identifying new opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize production schedules.

  • Manage the creation, negotiation, and governance of all contracts, ensuring they are meticulously executed and adhered to.

  • Analyze market trends and procurement data to inform strategic decision-making and support annual cost reduction goals.


Basic Requirements
  • Candidates must have at least a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields is a plus.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • An excellent team player, a person with integrity, mature and self-motivated.

  • Willing to travel regionally.
