Position Summary

We are seeking a Presales Engineer to support system, server, and storage infrastructure opportunities. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs, propose solutions, and provide pre-sales technical support for complex products and architectures. Typical responsibilities include presentations, solution design, architecture diagrams, BOM creation, and recommending scopes of work for professional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to understand requirements and propose suitable infrastructure solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and partner enablement sessions.
  • Create architecture diagrams, solution proposals, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Support RFQ/RFP responses, solution sizing, and competitive positioning.
  • Recommend and define professional services Scope of Work (SOW).
  • Work across Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V; exposure to Nutanix, Containers, Kubernetes, and migration tools is a plus.

  • Established, productive technical professional who works independently with general supervision.
  • Able to handle moderate to complex projects and solve difficult technical problems.
  • Can influence customers and internal teams using clear facts, logic, and best practices.
  • Work reviewed primarily for sound judgment and overall accuracy, with high win-rates for your proposed solution.
     

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in presales, system engineering, or infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong experience in servers, storage, virtualization, and OS platforms.
  • Be able to identify and seize opportunity to cross and upsell solution to bring internal team into the conversation.
  • Skilled in customer presentations, technical documentation, and BOM creation.
  • Understanding of services scoping and deployment requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; willing to travel locally.

Preferred/ Advantageous

  • Certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, VCP, NCP/NCM, CKA/CKAD.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
