Overview
The People Specialist mainly supports the North Asia People Business Partner team related work in North Asia markets and AP regional functions. This role covers diverse areas within People & Capability such as compensation, benefits, talent management, recruiting, learning, reporting, and employee support. The role will work closely with People Business Partners, COEs and GBSC-P&C to deliver assigned activities.
Role• Performs day-to-day activities to support the implementation of P&C policies and programs.• Coordinates with GBSC-P&C and COEs on the delivery of people programs and initiatives.• Executes P&C reporting, data collection, analysis and preparation based on business requirements.• Supports employee lifecycle activities including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding and employee inquiries.• Answers employee and manager inquiries related to payroll, benefits, leave and HR processes.• Supports employee engagement, learning and other P&C initiatives.• Participates in projects and activities assigned by the People Business Partner.
All About You• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.• Basic labor law knowledge for the markets to support and knowledge of HR processes and employment practices.• Strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.• Good analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.• Having learning agility, can possessed the ability to quickly acquire specific knowledge of business units supported; develops an end-to-end knowledge of Mastercard's business.• Good project management skills, demonstrates ability to lead projects cross-functional teams independently and successfully.
