What you’ll do

You will own the end-to-end global equity operations (RSUs, ESOPs and related programs) for Airwallex, covering grant, exercise, termination, documentation and project execution. You will work closely with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, Tax and regional People teams to ensure data accuracy, process compliance and a consistent equity experience for employees and non‑employees.

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Global equity operations

  • Lead the operations of global employee equity programs across the full lifecycle, from grant and vesting through exercise, termination, and post-termination treatment.

  • Ensure equity processes are delivered accurately, consistently and on time across entities, regions, and employee populations.

Governance and employee support

  • Manage equity documentation, approvals, records, and communications in partnership with Legal, Finance, Tax, Total Rewards, and regional People teams.

  • Provide clear, timely support to employees and stakeholders, and develop scalable guidance and self-service resources for common equity questions.

Data, reporting, and compliance

  • Maintain high-quality equity data and reporting to support business planning, accounting, audits, and regulatory or tax requirements.

  • Strengthen operational controls and ensure processes remain compliant, well-documented, and audit-ready.

Projects and continuous improvement

  • Support strategic equity programs and events, including annual grants, liquidity programs, scheme transitions, and retention or relocation initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate equity operations while maintaining strong governance and data integrity.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, human resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of direct experience in global equity administration within a high-growth technology, fintech, or multinational environment.

  • Demonstrated experience administering international employee equity programs, including RSUs, stock options, or ESOPs, across multiple entities or jurisdictions.

  • Experience working with HRIS and employee equity platforms to manage lifecycle administration, data maintenance, reporting, and reconciliation.

  • Proven ability to process, analyze, and reconcile high-volume, multi-system data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to data integrity.

  • Experience supporting employee queries and operational workflows with clear prioritization, ownership, and service-level discipline.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the equity lifecycle and the controls required to maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready records.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting equity operations at a pre-IPO or late-stage private company, including tender offers, equity purchase or bonus swap programs, and scheme transitions.

  • Familiarity with global equity compliance structures, including trusts, local holding or trust entities, and EOR arrangements.

  • Experience partnering with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, and Tax to translate plan or policy changes into scalable workflows and system configurations.

  • A track record of identifying process gaps and improving, automating, or standardizing equity operations.

  • Comfort working in a high-growth environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and proactive communication are essential.
