As part of the Enterprise Risk Management team, you will assist in operational risk management, risk committee reporting, incident reporting and analysis and outsourcing function in Prudential Assurance Company Singapore.Job Description:
- Work closely with all departments to guide and exercise strong oversight on PACS risk and control registers, incident reporting, process gaps and controls analysis, and validation checks on user-developed financial modelling & applications
- Ensure efficient risk information gathering and transmission within PACS and with the Group Head Office
- Exercise adequate oversight on PACS’ third-party supply and outsourcing risk, in accordance with PACS’ internal framework, policies, and procedures (including review of risk assessments conducted by second line departments)
- Work with the business functions to conduct risk assessments on projects/ initiatives
- Prepare quarterly Board Risk Committee materials, bimonthly Risk Management Council materials, and follow-up actions
- Prepare other Board papers including risk updates and material internal incident reporting
- Promote awareness of operational risk management in PACS and support the maintenance of a healthy risk culture
- Support projects which may impact the Enterprise Risk Management function
Working Experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
- Prior risk and control experience, operational risk management, and outsourcing process knowledge, including risk and control assessment and management in a financial institution
Professional Qualifications
- Certification in risk management and/or information security would be advantageous
Education
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or other related discipline
