As a Management Reporting, Planning & Analysis professional at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in shaping the bank's financial future. You'll work closely with stakeholders to drive business growth, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic plans to achieve our goals. It's a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and collaboration.
How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to develop a deep understanding of the bank's financial performance, market trends, and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify key drivers of financial performance, develop forecasts and models, and provide insights to inform business decisions. Your ability to analyze complex data, communicate effectively, and drive change will be essential to your success.
What you do

  • Develop financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making

  • Analyze financial performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders

  • Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards to support business decision-making

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

    Who you are

    • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably in management planning and analysis/ business finance or related functions

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, and experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL and Tagetik a plus
