Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Market Development Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing market strategies, and executing initiatives that align with our organizational goals. Your expertise in market analysis and business development will be critical in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
Role and Responsibilities:
Excellent understanding of market trends in Biopharma, Pharma (incl. CDMOs), Academia/ Life Sciences, in SMT-IDO region, worth at least USD 66 million.
Proactive in exploring, collecting first-hand market information from target industry and identify emerging market opportunities, build and nurture emerging accounts to meet business growth goals with entire Agilent solutions.
Generate strategic workflow and playbook with Agilent portfolios. Produce training material to increase fields competencies in the targeted emerging market.
Establish collaborative network with collaborators, Key Opinion Leaders in the region of target industry, engage with regulatory and key stakeholders to strengthen early adoption of technologies, to enhance Agilent’s expertise, so as to increase Agilent’s awareness, visibility and influence in targeted focus areas.
Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Technical Specialization and beyond) to execute market development initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives. Be able to lead, share, develop and support in a collaborative manner, with, to implement strategies and collect feedback from the ground
Qualifications:
Master’s degree (> 8 years of experience) or Ph.D. (> 5 years of experience), with deep market understanding in Biopharma, Pharma (incl. CDMOs), Academia/ Life Sciences, in SMT-IDO region.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful market strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven strategic decisions.
Rich knowledge on the analytical platforms. Knowledge in cell analysis, genomics, automation, lab informatics will be an added advantage.
Strong experience on KOL customer interaction and collaboration, good connection in Biopharma, Pharma (incl. CDMOs), Academia/ Life Sciences, in SMT-IDO region, or relevant labs and industry associations
Enthusiasm and passion with growth mindset, excellent oral/written communication, and presentation skills, highly skilled in interpersonal communication
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Proficiency in market research techniques, producing quality market reports.
Good understand of Agilent entire solutions, and how it can be linked to customers’ workflow and solutions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
