Job Description Summary

This role reports to the Head of Venue Management Team and leads a team of Property Executives and Property Officers. He/She is involved in both strategic (mid and long term) planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to Kallang Tennis Hub, Kallang Football Hub, Commercial, Precinct & Carpark Mgmt. Areas of responsibility include:
• Manage two new developments of Kallang Tennis Hub and Kallang Football Hub
• Oversee Sports Hub Commercial Venue Management team
• Building and grounds maintenance
• Soft Services such as Cleaning, Waste Management, Landscape, Pest control
• Venue health and safety
• Lifecycle Replacement Projects
• Tenants, partners, stake holder office space
In addition to functionality and readiness of venues, he/she will ensure any helpdesk / TAM Case related to FM are responded to and close within the stipulated response time, avoiding any Fees Deduction due performance or availability.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain equipment assets register for the Venue and formulate an appropriate equipment replacement program.
  • In consultation with the Sports Hub FM – Hard Services Team, ensure detailed routine and preventative maintenance planners are followed, such that all facilities are maintained to agreed standards, operation and available in accordance to Zone Data Sheet.
  • Ensure that the technical and facility requirements of the Venue Safety and mandatory Certificates are renew, valid and effective records are kept.
  • To support KASM Venue Operations on event variable cost that includes cleaning and waste, facility attendant (FA), utilities and others event requirement. Where appropriate take on the role of event manager for specified events.
  • Supervise, organise and manage his team members to upkeep the venue and event spaces safe, clean and hygiene, facilities operational all times.
  • Prepare venue prior to event bump in and reinstate venue after event bump out. During this period, venue manager must keep a record and condition of asset handover and account for any damages or missing asset at end of event. Provide damage cost to Venue ops to seek reimbursement from hirer.
  • From condition assessment develop 5-year Life Cycle replacement plan based on priority within budgetary cost and target date to complete.
  • Manage and ensure life cycle project deliver the expected outcome, within approved budget and complete on target time.
  • To attend and assist on investigation, determine possible root cause and respond to complaints from members of the public related to Venue facilities and service delivery. Together with SFSQ members recommend and put in place mitigation measures.
  • As Work Authorisation (WA) approving manager, he must exercise due diligence before approved multiple parties work and de-conflict with events.
  • Venue Manager must regularly check to ensure all work within venue are carried out safely and comply with WSHA and SSH safety standards and requirement.
  • Venue Manager must manage venue risk register on fragile surface and risk assessments. Periodically review the register, hazard and risk associated ensuring control measure is adequate and relevant.
  • Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.
  • To manage and execute Variation as well as Ad hoc project to meet project timeline without jeopardise venue event and operation.
  • In the absence of Venue Head, Venue Manager will step-up the role oversee day to day duty, work closely with partners and stakeholders on sitewide matters, enquiries and FM support matters.
  • Act as the Deputy of the Venue Head
  • Carry out duties to help support the Company’s core values.
  • Perform any related duties as required and directed.

About You:

  • Minimally University Degree in Engineering or Facilities Management or other relevant qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Facilities Management (Sports or event venue is preferred).
  • Candidate with project management will be added advantage.
  • Able to work long hours and over weekends during event period.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and positive attitude.
  • Strong organisation and leadership skill.
  • Good communication to all levels.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability & responsibility, adaptability, honest integrity.
  • Work safely, teamwork, initiative, self-advocacy, customer service, reliability.
