Job Description
The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile
Key responsibilities include:
- Collate and analyze statistics of systems used within Retail Credit Management (RCM) regionally.
- Support all projects RCM is involved in.
- Draft relevant system documents such as BRDs and FSDs.
- Ensure system governance is adhered to, and audit ready documents are maintained.
- Responsible for all system related enhancement for CMC and all other systems.
- Lead, coordinate, and provide necessary support including UAT testing and support for project implementation between users and IT.
- Manage CMC collection strategy rule change and provide pre and post implementation support for users.
- Initiate process reengineering/streamlining/automation of current workflow for existing process and enforce proper control process for critical items.
- Identify gaps in existing business and IT processes, recommend and execute implementable solutions to address the issues
- Liaise with all internal and external partners, providing ongoing support as required to the Group Credit Retail.
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree holder (preferably in Computer Science or Statistic or other related field) with minimum of 2 years’ experience in Information Technology or data analysis in financial industry.
- Good understanding of the business and information technology, including data networks and database management. Able to review and understand the limitations of technology in relation to key business processes.
- Good project management skills, pro-active, committed and result-oriented with high degree of drive.
- Understanding of AI and how the technology is relevant in business processes
- Knowledge in programming, software development processes an advantage.
- Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and respond to request in timely manner
- Need to be able to deal with counterparts who may not be technologically literate
- A team player who is driven, analytical and meticulous, and possesses good written and verbal communication skills as well as an ability to work independently.
