[What the role is]

The Integrated Marketing & Communications Manager will be part of EDB's Brand, Marketing and Communications Division, which (a) shapes Singapore's global positioning as a premier business destination and (b) communicates EDB’s investment facilitation and job creation outcomes to local audiences.
This role calls for a strategic thinker and strong writer, who can flex across different marketing and communications functions and work in close partnership with EDB divisions. You will craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences, oversee the development of communications material and content assets, and orchestrate multi-channel campaigns to meet marketing & communications objectives, from enhancing search visibility and generating awareness, to correcting misperceptions and driving action.
Some examples of specific tactics: digital and event activations; media pitching efforts; the development of “how-to” content assets for companies to tap into Singapore’s business ecosystem; and media partnerships with publishers.
Our ideal candidate is someone excited about the power of integrated marketing and communications to enhance storytelling, distil complex information into actionable insights, and reach the right target audience. If you are resourceful, adaptable and simultaneously adept at working independently and being a team player, we would love to hear from you.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities could include a mix of:

  • Campaign Strategy & Planning: Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with EDB’s strategic objectives, combining earned, owned, paid, and partnered channels to maximise reach and impact. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners (government agencies, companies, private organisations and media outlets) to ensure campaign coherence whilst maintaining brand consistency and messaging alignment.

  • Content Development & Creative Direction: Lead the creation of compelling content assets and advertising creatives that resonate with target audiences. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality, brand-consistent materials across various formats.

  • Communications & Media Outreach: Develop communications material and execute initiatives that strengthen understanding and recognition of Singapore’s value propositions and key industries. Identify media opportunities to highlight investment and job creation outcomes.

  • Digital Marketing & Performance Management: Manage paid campaigns across digital and social platforms. Partner with internal teams to enhance EDB's online visibility and organic reach, utilising data analytics to inform future campaign strategies and optimisation opportunities.

  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure timely launch of campaigns within allocated budgets.

[What we are looking for]

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Four to eight years of marketing and/or communications experience, in either the public or private sector. Familiarity with B2B marketing, and using marketing technology and data to optimise campaigns, is a plus.

  • A keen interest in geopolitical, business and social trends. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and distil pertinent issues, draw conclusions, and propose solutions that address the organisation’s marketing and communications needs.

  • Experience using social media to amplify content and promote audience engagement

  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills

  • The ability to work independently and at the same time, collaborate effectively across teams

We will review applications on a rolling basis. Applicants can expect to receive an application outcome within 8 weeks of their application date.
