This role involves aligning Distribution activities with regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, preparing reports, and managing vendor activities in the financial or insurance industry.
To ensure that Distribution activities are aligned to regulatory requirements and company policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Conduct annual review of Guides and Handbooks for Distribution activities.
- Implement and conduct Risk Assessments based on Company Policies for Third Party vendors or service providers.
- Implement and monitor Distribution sales and recruitment marketing activities.
- Implement and monitor Distribution Third Party vendors or service providers activities.
- Prepare and provide monitoring findings and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and update non-Market Conduct Consequence Management framework.
- Review non-Market Conduct Consequence Management for Distribution.
- Maintain central records for regulatory-required registers and department documentation.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of Distribution governance frameworks.
- Any other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Sales Governance, or handling a similar scope within the financial or insurance industry.
- At least 1–2 years of people management experience, including coaching, guiding, or supervising team members.
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks and requirements from MAS or LIA will be an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CMFAS modules will be an added advantage.
- Prior involvement in governance of distribution activities, sales processes, third‑party vendor management, or consequence management frameworks is preferred.
- Experience in stakeholder management, with proven ability to collaborate across business and support functions.
