Job Responsibilities

Schedule Development and Management

  • Develop detailed project schedules for facility operations, including maintenance, renovations, and    new construction by using project management software (Primavera P6) and or other tools

  • Identify milestones, dependencies, and critical paths for facility-related projects.

  • Coordinate schedules for multiple teams, contractors, and external vendors.

  • To standardize project schedules and reports per Marina Bay Sands Project Control requirements.

  • To coach project contractors to transit to Primavera P6 scheduling software and work with them      professionally to meet Marina Bay Sands Project Control requirements (meet cost, schedule, and deliverables).

Progress Monitoring and Updates

  • Track and update project schedules to reflect progress.

  • Conduct critical path analysis to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Monitor schedule performance and provide reports to leadership.

  • Identify critical path activities and dependencies to optimize project timelines.

  • Highlight and ensure optimal resource utilization and avoiding overallocation.

  • Continue monitoring project progress and performance against the established schedule.

  • Identify potential delays or risks and propose corrective actions.

Coordination and Communication

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines.

  • Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings to address potential conflicts or changes.

  • Act as the main point of contact for schedule-related inquiries.

Risk Management and Mitigation:

  • Identify potential scheduling risks, such as resource shortages or delays in procurement.

  • Develop and implement contingency plans to address project disruptions.

      

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare reports, Gantt charts, and dashboards to communicate schedule status to stakeholders.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of schedules, adjustments, and project timelines.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Hold a valid Primavera P6 software license and have proven expertise in using the software

Experience

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in scheduling for facilities management, construction, or maintenance projects.

  • Proven experience in scheduling for facilities management, construction, or maintenance projects.

Other Prerequisites

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex timelines.

  • Familiarity with facility operations, building systems, and preventative maintenance programs.

  • Experience with coordinating shutdowns, refurbishments, and multi-phase construction schedule

  • Proficiency in advanced scheduling software like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, procurement timelines, and project cost control.

  • Skilled in resource levelling, workload balancing, and critical path analysis.
