Manage account performance, deliver client service, spearhead integrated communications campaigns, and mentor team members while growing client relationships.
We are seeking an exceptional, confident manager to join our Consultancy team. He or she will be responsible for managing overall account team performance and is someone who can deliver excellent client service and quality control on multiple, sizable pieces of business. We want to engage a partner with strong experience in reputation management who can ensure that our and our clients’ integrated communications and business objectives are met.

What you will be doing:
- Understands clients’ businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders: consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other businesses/organizations, etc.
- Leads research, planning, creative ideation, and development of comprehensive integrated communications campaigns.
- Ability to manage large projects, as well as teams, on multiple sizable accounts.
- Demonstrates writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc.
- Tracks and monitors project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual) and meet client revenue targets.
- Grows account organically by introducing clients to relevant Edelman capabilities, including resources outside of the group, to advance their business goals.
- Grows network of industry clients and participates in relevant professional organizations and networking activities that will grow Edelman’s brand recognition and own reputation.
- Initiates new business processes, including identifying new business opportunities and helping lead the RFP response process
- Displays strong presentation skills.
- Mentors, coaches and supports all team members and ensures staff develop abilities through Edelman Learning Institute and other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring.
What is required of you:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, and/or related fields, including research, media, or publishing.
- Knowledge, experience and interest in the financial services sector is a must.
- Superior writing and verbal communications skills, specifically writing to persuade.
- Strong media relations across local, regional and international titles.
- Effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others’ work.
- Strong understanding of current affairs and global trends, with a focus on Asia/ Southeast Asia region and the ability to draw insights from this understanding to counsel clients.
- Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends and demonstrates an understanding of how they integrate into integrated marketing programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
