We are currently in search of a highly driven and strategic Manager, CIO Office (APAC) to be part of our regional team (APAC and Europe) and oversee the markets within APAC. The CIO Office works closely with countries in the APAC region to achieve our key objectives, with a strong focus on growth, P&L metrics and solving key challenges.

This role will be based in Singapore, Philippines, or Malaysia

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand markets’ challenges in-depth and partner with country teams to diagnose key business challenges and develop strategic recommendations

  • Analyze country P&Ls and identify opportunities to improve the profitability and productivity of assigned markets.

  • Lead selected regional cross-functional projects across topics such as customer experience, operating model, ways of working, etc.

  • Support budget planning and resource allocation discussions through analysis and recommendations to help meet growth and profitability targets

  • Prepare strategic analyses and recommendations to inform leadership discussions on strategic goals, funding, and return on investment

  • Drive coordination, analysis, progress tracking, and follow-up for the company’s OKR process 

  • Actively engage and participate in key regular touchpoints: performance updates, financial reviews, budgeting & strategy, etc.

  • Lead workstreams aimed at improving customer, rider, and vendor performance and experience

  • Help develop, track, and execute investment proposals for strategic initiatives in partnership with country and regional stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or similar roles
  • Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup, or technology environments

  • Exposure to International or regional settings is a plus

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with a hands-on and execution-driven mindset

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across countries and multiple regional functions

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and a strong willingness to build processes, frameworks, and ways of working from scratch

  • While this is a generalist role, expertise in one or more business areas such as marketing, operations, commercial, and/or finance is a strong plus

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a bias for action

  • Comfortable reading and interpreting financial documents, including country P&Ls and investment proposals, and deriving actions from them

  • Clear, crisp, and actionable communication skills

  • Team player with a great attitude and high ownership mentality
