This role is to support SEA market for DTC streaming service engagement between local business and global technology stakeholders.
Job summary:
- This is a critical role in supporting Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology business strategy and practice in the highly diverse SEA markets.
- Be the main technology interface to DTC business stakeholder, lead the engagement with stakeholder throughout technology development and deployment cycle, Ensure business and technology alignment at all time.
- Gather business requirements and coordinate relevant technology resource to initiate product development project accordingly
- Lead the business impact assessment for proposed technology and operational solutions, by working with cross functional team ((such as legal, finance, HR etc) ) in APAC and US headquarters.
- Temporally, at as project manager during transition stage (may last 1 to 2 years).
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Understand business priority, gather and anticipate business requirement as needed
- Business impact analysis for proposed technology solution, and acquire go/no go decision from relevant stakeholder
- Be the escalation point and resolution owner for any conflict/misalignment between tech and business.
Requirements:
- University degree in relevant field
- Industry expert for content distribution business model and technology in China.
- Strong ability to communication technology with none technical functions at executive level
- Strong ability to collaborate with counterpart in international and U.S. headquarters in resolving local market specific needs.
