The Manager, Agency Business Support will lead and facilitate various Distribution events, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing marketing activities, and managing third-party assessments while optimizing processes to enhance efficiency.
Income is looking for a Manager, Distribution Business Support to drive, lead Distribution Events, Marketing & Distribution (M&D) which includes Roadshows, Client Seminars, Lead Generation activities as well as Introducers and Third-Party Assessment (TPA) management.
- Events, Roadshow, Client Seminars’ planning and management
- To lead & facilitate events for Distribution to achieve sales and channel motivation objectives, including conceptualization, crafting of programme, communication to resource management that includes budgeting, logistics and manpower planning.
- Events may be held physically in Singapore, and/or overseas, or virtually.
- Events include Marketing and Distribution (“M&D”) activities (e.g. roadshows, client seminars etc.)
- Marketing & Distribution (“M&D”) activities
- To lead team on Distribution’s M&D activities to drive sales uplift, at the same time ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements with proper governance in place.
- To lead team to maintain a clear Distribution SOP of M&D activities for Distribution sales force, as well as an internal monitoring process to conduct regular checks on the activities.
- To lead team to work with internal stakeholders for M&D collaterals/materials’ review and sales reporting.
- Oversee the liaison of external partners/vendors on the logistics of all M&D activities.
- To lead team to collaborate with Division, Department Chief, DOAs and BDMs on review of new subsidy framework for roadshows for Distribution across all clusters including new incoming groups.
- To lead team on the evaluation of this new framework’s success rate, assessing its suitability to be offered to the rest of the Distribution sales force.
- To lead team to collaborate with stakeholders to drive sales uplift for Personal Lines’ products and other products i.e. FA via various M&D activities.
- To also lead team to work with Line 1.5 to ensure all M&D activities’ processes, SOP etc. are aligned and adhered to the latest regulatory requirement/guidelines.
- To lead team to work closely with Line 1.5 on any review of M&D guideline/framework when needed.
- Risk & Regulatory Compliance
- To lead team to work with both Line 1.5 & Line 2 to ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory requirements for the roles in Distribution Business Support, especially on MAS Marketing & Distribution (M&D) Activities, events, and any public facing sales and marketing activities.
- Oversee the review of Distribution Advisor’s public facing collaterals, including assessment and liaison with the key stakeholders to ensure advisors’ marketing materials follow regulatory guidelines prior to circulation.
- To lead team to monitor Distribution Advisors’ online behavior via social media monitoring and to evaluate effectiveness of the monitoring tool and make adjustments/changes when necessary to enhance monitoring rate/quality.
- To lead team to perform gap assessment/impact analysis when being engaged by either Line 1.5 or Line 2 Risk & Compliance team whenever there is an update on regulatory guidelines/requirements. To ensure Distribution’s M&D activities are adhered to the required guidelines/requirements.
- Introducers, Third-Party Assessment (TPA) Management & Projects/Initiatives
- To lead the team on review and streamline of annual sale of Income calendars and Chinese New Year Red Packets’ process to Distribution Advisors. Note: This task was undertaken after the sale management was redirected to Agency following the closure of iShop.
- To lead the team to facilitate Third Party Assessment (TPA), Procurement (PO/PR) and Payment process for all the tasks assigned to this team for all the tasks mentioned in this role.
- To lead & drive review of process optimization/efficiency for Distribution Business Support. Task area includes contests and reporting, roadshows, M&D activities etc. with key objective to reduce turnaround time and effort taken to deliver contest reports, such as by leveraging existing and newly implemented resources, or via software automation to reduce the existing manual data extraction work. Deliverable to achieve is to increase processing efficiency and overall improve on turnaround time. To lead & engage various stakeholders i.e. Distribution Middle Office (DMO), Technology, LHO departments etc. to discuss and achieve the required outcome.
- To lead the team in ensuring Distribution Introducer Framework, which is a recent new initiative provided to all advisors, including collaboration with stakeholders as part of the implementation, seamless sales partnership that is compliant within regulatory governance. To lead the team to ensure the Introducer process including payment collaboration with Finance (FN) and other stakeholders i.e. Line 1.5 etc. is aligned & updated.
- With the projected expansion of Distribution sales force – to lead the team in stepping up to provide additional business support through various projects/ initiatives that are new to Distribution.
- To lead the team on the review framework set-up for Tier 3/2 name branding/naming requests, review framework for marketing collaterals and worksite marketing related presentation deck, Branch-led publication, etc.
- To lead the team to implement and operationalize Distribution-initiated projects in response to arising Distribution business needs, including documentation, monitoring, cross department collaborations and potential cross channel harmonization projects related to review of existing M&D processes/initiatives i.e. M&D SOP, collaboration roadshows etc to be aligned with other distribution channels i.e. RFS, IAFA etc and any ad-hoc projects/assignments as assigned by Head of DBS or Division/Department Chief.
- To lead the team to review and manage Distribution (Channels) sponsorship budget with Marketing (MK), providing recommendations to maximum business returns with the sponsorship.
