Job Description

The Products and Solutions function is responsible for product management, product strategy, and providing thought leadership and long-term design to drive the development and growth of Visa’s product portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. Within this function, the Commercialization vertical serves as a Center-of-Excellence, enabling product owners across verticals with go-to-market (GTM) strategy, sales enablement, client engagement, pricing, contracting, and collateral development. 

The Commercialization team champions a customer-first engagement model that spans the full product lifecycle from pre-sales through onboarding, go-live and customer success. The team is instrumental in implementing scalable strategies that ensure consistent, high-impact client experiences and accelerate product adoption across markets for 12-18 months till the product reaches an inflexion point.

What Manager, Acceptance Commercialization, AP Products and Solutions, will do: 

We are looking for a driven business development professional to accelerate the growth of our innovative acceptance products across Asia Pacific. The role is pivotal in delivering seamless payment experience for e-commerce payments by championing our acceptance product and driving their adoption with merchants and partners. 

  • Champion the Acceptance Product in the e-commerce space across Asia Pacific as the regional expert, clearly articulating its value to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Drive merchant adoption by leading the go-to-market strategy and managing the commercialization pipeline with disciplined tracking and reporting. 

  • Execute GTM strategies through strategic engagement, tailored pitches, and seamless onboarding of merchants and partners. 

  • Build and deepen relationships with merchants, PSPs, and platforms to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.  

  • Partner with cross functional teams (product, account executives, marketing, legal) to develop tailored proposals and close strategic deals. 

  • Collaborate with merchants and partners to co-create and launch joint marketing campaigns that drive awareness and usage. 

  • Monitor market trends in e-commerce payments to refine strategy and provide actionable insights to refine product strategy and roadmap. 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field. 

  • 8+ years of experience, including at least 2+ years of experience in e-commerce payment sales, business development or product commercialization. 

  • Experience working with or within a merchant acquirer or payment service provider (PSP) in the e-commerce space is preferred. 

  • Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem (e.g. card acceptance, digital wallets, alternative payment methods). 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a structured approach to navigating complexity and ambiguity. 

  • Strong ability to leverage data and market insights to refine go-to-market strategies, identify growth opportunities, and scale product adoption across diverse markets. 

  • Natural collaborator with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. 

  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and ability to translate insights into execution.
