[What the role is]
As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital (SMEGD) Division aims to help SMEs use digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy. With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore’s economy, it is essential that our SMEs make the most of digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue for growth.SMEGD manages SMEs Go Digital – a one stop platform that helps SMEs grow their business through digital. The Marketing Comm team helps to promote the platform as well as digitalisation and its benefits to SMEs, through day-today marcoms and the annual SMEs Go Digital Day event.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:
- Drive the ideation, development and execution of brand initiatives and marketing campaigns aimed at growing visitors to the SMEGD platform
- Work with marketing agencies to develop and execute campaigns across online and offline channels
- Serve as custodian of the brand identity and ensure appropriate applications
- Support the SMEGD team in marketing and communications
- Develop marketing messages and plans to promote SMEGD’s initiatives
- Amplify content to attract and excite SMEs
- Ensure coherence of SMEGD messaging and narratives in planned marketing materials
- Implement, and execute key outreach events, such as SMEs Go Digital Day exhibition
- Execute administrative processes for marketing activities, which includes procurement of services, managing budgets and measurement of effectiveness of content developed and channels leveraged
Requirements:
- Background in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Marketing Communications, events marketing and digital marketing.
- Good individual contributor and strong team player.
- Ability to navigate, adaptable to changes, with strong ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good understanding of Marketing Communications, with track record in developing and executing marketing communication campaigns.
- Experience in managing 3rd party agencies/vendors/suppliers.
- Good written and spoken communication, presentation skills.
- Resourceful and creative – able to think out of the box to develop different outreach strategies to reach the various SME target sectors.
- Prior experience in marketing for B2B segment will be advantageous.
